Leaders in Business helps accounting firms turn strategic advisory into a structured, repeatable and commercially viable capability — not something dependent on one partner or delivered inconsistently.
You can follow the certification pathway (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3) to build advisory confidence and delivery skills in real client conversations.
Or you can licence the Strategic Advisory Operating Model to implement that structure across your firm. An annual licence gives you access to the Advisory Workspace, practical tools and templates, ongoing updates, and dedicated support — enabling advisory to be embedded across partners, managers and teams.
It suits firms stepping into advisory for the first time, firms already offering advisory without clear structure and firms wanting to scale advisory beyond one individual.
Training builds capability. Licensing enables implementation.
It is both — depending on where you start.
Advisory Certification Training builds your personal capability and confidence.
Licensing the Strategic Advisory Operating Model allows your firm to implement that structure at scale using the Advisory Workspace and ongoing support.
You can complete training without licensing the model. But firms wanting to embed advisory consistently across their team licence the Operating Model.
Advisory Certification Training is practical training designed to help accountants deliver stronger strategic conversations with clients. You’ll learn the structure, practise the method and walk away with certification recognition and tools you can apply immediately.
There are three certification levels available, depending on where you’re at and how far you want to go in building advisory capability.
Level 1 (Advisory Method Certification) is a short, practical online session designed to give you the foundations — the structure, language and flow behind strong strategic advisory conversations. It’s the ideal starting point if you want to sharpen how you show up with clients fast.
Level 2 (Advisory Delivery Certification) is a deeper, immersive workshop experience (delivered in a 3-day face-to-face format or equivalent online delivery). It’s built for accountants ready to practise real delivery, work through client scenarios, learn alongside peers and develop the confidence to package and deliver advisory as a repeatable service clients will pay for.
Leaders in Business focuses on structured application. You choose your starting point — whether that’s building the foundations in Level 1 or developing real delivery capability in Level 2 — and each level is designed to strengthen how you run strategic conversations in practice, not just understand them in theory.
As part of your licence, you gain access to the Advisory Workspace, the digital environment where advisory is delivered.
Inside, you’ll find structured diagnostics, session templates, planning tools, dashboards, action tracking, client-ready resources, AI agent tools and more, all designed to support advisory conversations before, during and after meetings.
It provides the structure behind your conversations, helping turn insight into documented actions, accountability and measurable progress.
Leaders in Business is designed for both accountants who are new to advisory and those already delivering it. If you’re just starting, you’ll learn a clear method to run structured strategic conversations with confidence. If you’re already offering advisory, the training helps you formalise and strengthen what you’re doing — turning informal sessions into a repeatable service your team can deliver consistently and your clients can clearly understand and value.
Either way, the goal is the same: structured advisory that is deliberate, consistent and commercially strong.
Yes. The Operating Model is designed to scale advisory beyond one partner. It gives your firm a shared structure so multiple advisors can deliver advisory consistently under the same approach.
Support doesn’t stop after the training. You’ll continue to build momentum through the Advisor Club, ongoing resources, and the tools inside the Advisory Workspace, so what you learn actually gets applied in real client work, not forgotten a week later.
You’ll also have access to dedicated advisors who can guide you as you implement strategic advisory inside your firm, troubleshoot real client situations and help you strengthen your delivery over time. And because the Advisory Workspace is built from real-world usage, it’s continuously improved and expanded based on what accounting firms actually need in practice.
If you need support getting your own firm’s strategic direction clear first, we can help with that too — so you’re building advisory from a strong foundation.
Yes — but the depth depends on the level you choose. Level 1 helps you understand the value of structured advisory and strengthens how you position strategic conversations with clients. Level 2 goes further. You’ll work on shaping advisory into a clearly defined service, learn how to package it, communicate its value and price it with confidence. If pricing and positioning are a key focus for you, Level 2 is the recommended starting point.
Immediately. Certification Training is designed to strengthen your next client conversation, not six months from now. Most advisors begin applying the structure straight away. If you licence the Strategic Advisory Operating Model, you also gain access to the Advisory Workspace, so your sessions can be supported with diagnostics, templates and structured action planning from day one.
There are two clear entry points:
Learn the method through Advisory Certification Training (Level 1 or Level 2).
Licence the Strategic Advisory Operating Model, which includes access to the Advisory Workspace and ongoing support.
